Who are the greatest footballers of all time?
It's a question that will always divide football fans. Every generation has its favourites, every position has its legends, and everyone has their own idea of what the perfect all-time XI should look like.
That's why My Greatest 11 lets our community build their own greatest-ever team.
As more football fans select their players, we can see which legends are appearing most frequently in the community's teams.
And currently, three players have separated themselves from the rest.

Three icons from three different positions, but all players who have a strong claim to be considered among the greatest footballers of all time.
3rd, Zinedine Zidane
Currently sitting in third place is Zinedine Zidane.
The French maestro is one of the most popular choices for an all-time midfield, and it's easy to understand why.
Zidane combined elegance, technique and extraordinary ball control with an ability to produce his best football on the biggest stage.
His international career included the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000, while his club career brought domestic titles and Champions League glory with Real Madrid.
For many fans, Zidane represents the perfect attacking midfielder, capable of controlling a match while producing moments of individual brilliance.
His presence in the current top three shows just how highly our community rates one of football's most iconic No. 10s.
2nd, Ronaldo Nazário
In second place is Ronaldo Nazário, better known to football fans simply as R9.
At his peak, Ronaldo was almost impossible to defend against.
His combination of explosive acceleration, close control, dribbling and finishing made him one of the most devastating forwards the game has ever seen.
Despite suffering serious injuries during his career, Ronaldo still won the Ballon d'Or twice and played a starring role in Brazil's 2002 World Cup triumph, scoring eight goals during the tournament.
His performances at Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Brazil cemented his status as one of the greatest strikers in football history.
It's no surprise to see R9 so high on the community's list.
1st, Paolo Maldini
And currently sitting at number one is Paolo Maldini.
The AC Milan and Italy legend has been selected more than any other player in the community's My Greatest 11 teams.
Maldini's longevity, consistency and incredible trophy collection make him one of the easiest players to justify in an all-time XI.
Whether playing at left-back or centre-back, Maldini combined defensive intelligence with outstanding technique and composure.
He spent his entire senior club career with AC Milan, winning multiple Serie A titles and European Cups/Champions League trophies.
For a player who could arguably make an all-time XI at either left-back or centre-back, Maldini's popularity among our community is hardly surprising.

The top three give us a fascinating snapshot of the community's choices.
Maldini, Ronaldo and Zidane represent three different types of greatness.
Maldini represents defensive excellence and longevity.
Ronaldo represents explosive attacking brilliance.
Zidane represents technique, creativity and control.

The beauty of My Greatest 11 is that there is no definitive answer.
Football fans will always disagree over the greatest goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward. That's what makes building an all-time XI so much fun.
For now, Paolo Maldini sits at the top, with Ronaldo Nazário second and Zinedine Zidane third.
But as more teams are created, the rankings could change.
